Summer Sangria

23 Jul

It’s been a gorgeous day in Southern California, and much of it was spent browsing farmer’s markets and lying on the beach. I couldn’t ask for more…except for maybe a glass of sangria.

Here’s a simple, single-glass recipe for sangria…just what a girl needs on the perfect summer day.

Summer Sangria

  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • 2 oz. mineral water, chilled
  • 4 oz. red wine, chilled
  • 2 slices of lime
  • 1/4 of a peach, chopped
  • 1/2 packet of stevia
  • 2 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a wine glass, stir, and enjoy! Just like that, your great day got even better.  This sangria isn’t very sweet, so add more sweetener to taste if desired.
I used a slightly fruity organic red table wine.
Bonus points for a cute label.
Cheers,
-Lou
