Last week, my friend, Kristin and I went to the OC Fair! We visited the farm animals, won some cute stuffed animals at the carnival games, and rode some pretty fun rides.
And of course, it wouldn’t have been a complete fair experience without some fair food (aka deep fried). Everything in moderation, right? Life is about balance.
I started the day with an egg white omelet with tomatoes, feta cheese, and fresh basil. I spread some hummus in the middle, too, and it was divine!
Lunch was fair food! I had a veggie dog on a stick, a couple bites of some cheese on a stick, and Kristin and I picked at some loaded nachos.
Dinner was bit more balanced. I made some baked chicken nuggets served alongside steamed green beans. These were the best healthy, baked chicken nuggets I’ve had! Recipe coming tomorrow, OK?
